Privacy policy

Vital2Life (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates vital2life.net (the “Site”). This policy explains what happens to information when you visit it. By using the Site you agree to it.

What this site collects

The contact form, and nothing else you type. There is one form on this Site, on the contact page. It asks for your name, your email address and your message, and we use them to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not pass them to anyone, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

Submissions are handled by Netlify Forms, run by our hosting provider Netlify, who store them so we can read them. There is no sign-up and no search box; apart from that one form, nothing on this Site captures what you write.

Write to us at the address below and we will delete a message you have sent us.

No account, no cart, no payment. Purchases happen on our separate store at store.vital2life.net, which is hosted by Shopify. Anything to do with an order — payment details, shipping address, order history — is collected and held by Shopify under their own privacy policy, not by us. Please read theirs before you buy.

Standard server logs. Netlify, our hosting provider, records the ordinary technical information every web server records: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and the site that referred you. We use it to keep the Site running and to understand faults. We do not combine it with anything that identifies you personally.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This Site sets no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no third-party script of any kind. Every font and image is served from this Site rather than from another company’s servers, so no other company sees your visit.

The one thing we store is a single item in your browser’s local storage, recording that you have seen our cookie notice so it does not reappear on every page. It contains no identifier and it is not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.

If we ever add analytics or an email sign-up, this section and the notice will change first, and anything non-essential will be switched off until you say otherwise.

Who else is involved

• Netlify — serves the pages, keeps standard access logs, and receives and stores contact form submissions on our behalf.
• Shopify — runs our store at store.vital2life.net and handles everything to do with orders under its own policy.

That is the complete list. There is no fourth party.

How to reach us, and what you can ask for

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Apart from a message you have sent us through the contact form, the Site itself collects nothing that identifies you, so in practice such a request will usually concern our store — but write to us either way and we will point you to the right place.

Children

This Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy. Changes appear on this page with a new “last updated” date above.
